A pediatrician (often called a child specialist) is a doctor trained in the health, growth, development, and diseases of infants, children, and adolescents. Dr. Dixit lists her speciality as “Pediatrics / Child Specialist,” which means she handles the full spectrum of childhood care–from routine check-ups and immunisations to more serious illnesses.
There is no meaningful difference in the context of her clinic — “child specialist” is simply another term for a qualified pediatrician.
A child specialist is also called a pediatrician.

What is the age limit for pediatric patients?
Pediatric care covers children from birth up to 18 years of age.

For emergencies, Dr. Dixit coordinates care with nearby hospitals and pediatric units.
